Where To Park Your Luggage In Vegas

When traveling to Las Vegas, take this advice from Samsonite.

Those who have visited Las Vegas sometimes call it a cheap, glitzy, tawdry gambling town. What they don’t realize is that it’s also a cheap, glitzy tawdry convention center with over 2,800 conventions attended by almost 3 million people annually in over 4 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space.

Samsonite, one of the largest luggage companies in the U.S., has compiled thumbnail sketches of some of the major hotels in Las Vegas to assist you in deciding where to stay:

– The MGM Grand is conveniently located close to the airport and sits on what is now the most famous corner in Las Vegas. MGM Grand has everything from Las Vegas’ largest theme park to world-class entertainment (no steady diet of Wayne Newton here).

– Bally’s is centrally located and is known for its large rooms, world class spa, and ample meeting spaces for almost every group.

– The Rio Hotel is an award winning hotel/casino centered around the Mardi Gras theme. The Rio is known for its good and plentiful food, carnival-style parades, exciting nightlife, and spacious suites — the Rio is an all-suite hotel.

Other suggested hotels with convenient locations to convention centers include The Mirage, Treasure Island, Stratosphere and Las Vegas Hilton.
